This years Scottish Community Drama One-Act Festival was held at Plockton High School and provided two nights of entertainment for all to enjoy. There were a variety of themes in this years productions from reflecting back on the life you have lived to the inner world of a single mother and while aspects of the plays could have heavy meanings all of them managed to carry comedic moments throughout. There were wonderfully creative sets which each team only had 10 minutes to set up and costumery that made the characters very recognisable in their roles. At the end of two wonderful night the adjudicator gave the winning trophy to “Flying with Swans” which was directed by Morag Amos, followed by Lochcarron’s “Last Panto in Lochcarron” directed by Dave Black and third was “Interior Designs” directed by Gill James.
